About us
Think Positive Live Positive Support Initiative (TPLPI) is a youth-led, intersectional feminist movement in Nigeria—grounded in a community-based resource centre led by young feminists across genders, sexualities, and lived realities—organising marginalised young people to confront systemic inequalities and shift power into the hands of our communities.
We were born out of lived experience — from young people navigating stigma, exclusion, economic vulnerability, violence, and restricted access to quality healthcare. We formalised in 2022 not to become a service desk, but to build a movement home: a space where young people can organise, lead, and transform the systems that shape their bodies, safety, and futures.
Our work is rooted in the belief that inequality is not accidental — it is structural. Our politics are clear: Survival is not enough—we deserve to thrive. Access to comprehensive healthcare is not a favour—it is a right. We build spaces where young people can breathe, speak, organise, and be believed; where care is dignifying; and where safety is something we create together in a context that often criminalises and punishes queer lives and organising. Stigma, criminalisation, patriarchy, economic exclusion, and gatekeeping are systems. And systems can be changed.
We organise across interconnected justice areas — including HIV justice, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), mental wellbeing, human rights defence, economic empowerment, digital access, and climate justice — because marginalisation is layered, and our resistance must be too. TPLPI exists to ensure marginalised young people do not merely survive unjust systems — but lead, decide, and thrive.

Yes. TPLPI recognises that climate change is a justice issue that affects health, livelihoods, and safety—especially for marginalised young people. We engage youth in climate awareness, advocacy, and community conversations that connect environmental challenges to everyday lived realities. Our goal is to ensure young people are informed, involved, and able to contribute to solutions that promote environmental equity and resilient communities.
We offer various economic empowerment programs, including skill-building, resources, and support, when funds are available to sustain these initiatives. Community members can follow our social media channels to stay informed about upcoming opportunities and events, ensuring they don't miss out on the chance to participate and benefit from these empowering programs.
We offer a range of services to young people, which include awareness campaigns, education, prevention support, and referrals to community-friendly facilities.
